If you’ve worked with me for any time at all, you’ve heard me say this. And it’s true. A strong process is what sets a great recruiter apart from an average one (and, you could say, a great firm apart from an average one). All of our recruiters are well-trained in the Forge Search Process. Here’s a peek behind the scenes of the process we go through for each of our searches.

  1. Prepare.

    Every successful search begins with a clear understanding of the role, the culture, and the team. We’ll dig deep to help set you up for success, assisting with the job description and organizational design. More than a typical intake conversation, our initial time together will generate the insights we need to assemble your unique search.

  2. Craft the message.

    We work with our clients to create a marketing plan for the role. Often, we’ll help create a slide deck to share the company and the role’s unique selling points with prospective candidates. Every company has a story to be told, and our job is to craft that story and share it.

  3. Recruit.

    Now we get into the nitty-gritty of the technical work! Our team launches a strategic search process tailored to your current need, utilizing a powerful combination of relationships, technology, and industry knowledge to identify the best candidates for your organization. Drawing upon years of expert sourcing techniques, we’re identifying hard-to-find candidates in a quick time frame.

  4. Share and communicate.

    We don’t stop at connecting with candidates—open, transparent communication is the hallmark of our client partnerships. We share resumes and pertinent information with you. And our commitment to you is simple: we’ll never take on a search we don’t intend to work, and you’ll always know exactly where we are in the process.

  5. Interview.

    We will work with you to create a robust interview framework to identify technical and cultural fit, including providing recommended interview questions if desired.

  6. Offer!

    Once we’ve introduced the candidates to your team, we can help structure the conversations for clarity and guide you through salary negotiations when you’re ready to extend an offer. We’ll work closely with both parties to effective manage the offer and acceptance process, helping to mitigate the risk of counter-offers and declines.
